Dino Crisis UE5-Based Fan Trailer Will Make You Wish It Was Official

Dino Crisis might not be alive anymore, but fans won't forget about it.

It’s been a long time since we have heard anything official about Dino Crisis from Capcom, but at least we can now have a glimpse at what the game could look like if it was developed for new consoles, through a new fan-made concept trailer.

TeaserPlay is a well-known YouTube content creator focused on crafting concept trailers and tech demos for games that we would love to get a remake in the future.

In their recent effort, the YouTuber shared a new concept trailer for an Unreal Engine 5-based remake of the Dino Crisis series. We do know that the series has been shelved for nearly two decades now, and Capcom apparently doesn’t have any intentions to revive it.

However, it is still great to see what a 9th-gen Dino Crisis would look like if it was developed on Unreal Engine 5. The TeaserPlay demo includes a 3D character model for Regina, but unfortunately, we don’t get to see her face. Moreover, you can check out a giant T-Rex as well as some raptors in the trailer.

As reported by DSOG, the creators have tried to use almost all the cutting-edge technologies that Unreal Engine 5 provides to developers, including Ray-Tracing. Although the environment and lighting look incredible in this brief demo, you can spot some clunky moves in character animation, which is totally fine.

Showing off both indoor and outdoor areas, the TeaserPlay trailer for Dino Crisis is probably something that the die-hard fans of the series wish was official.

Currently, Capcom is strictly focused on expanding its Resident Evil library in two different directions: Remaking old gems as well as building up and expanding the new first-person saga. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Dino Crisis could have any share of Capcom remakes for now.

Despite many requests for a new entry or a remake from Dino Crisis, Capcom has been tight-lipped about providing a clear answer on the future of this popular series, which has never seen the light of day since 2003.
