Hololive ERROR Game Is Now Available To Purchase For A Limited Time

Hololive ERROR, a horror game for PC based on the company’s VTuber group ‘Hololive‘, is now available for a limited time until August 22, and will be priced at 1,000 yen (approximately $7.50 USD). The game is available for purchase in both English and Japanese on the company’s official website.

Hololive Error is a PC horror game developed with a completely new story, unlike the free version that was distributed earlier this year. The protagonist is a reporter for an occult magazine, and under the influence of her grandfather, she was supposed to stay at a hotel to investigate the mystery of Aokamicho. Instead of doing that, she ends up getting caught in various terrifying incidents, including the mystery of a female student named Tokino Misora.

The title Hololive Error is available both in Physical and Digital Editions. The digital edition includes only the game and can be purchased instantly from the official shop. The physical edition, on the other hand, is a limited release commemorative special set that includes a digital download of the game, as well as exclusive physical bonuses such as official concept art, design collection, acrylic panels, and exclusive postcards. The complete commemorative edition costs 8,000 yen or $60 USD.

Pre-order for the Hololive Error Complete Set is available now, with delivery estimated to be around Mid-November 2022 to mid-December 2022. According to the website, the digital version of the game can still be purchased and downloaded even after the order period for the special set ends. However, they note that the sales period can end without any prior notice. System requirements are available on the official page, and the product is available in both English and Japanese. A promotional site has also opened for more info about the game.

The soundtrack of Hololive Error will also be distributed on Apple Music, Spotify and LINE Music.

Destiny 2 Solstice Day 2022: How to Upgrade Event Card & Armor

Destiny 2 Solstice Day event introduces Event Card as a brand new organizer for the event, that will let you track your progress through the event activities and rewards.

When the Solstice Day event begins on July 19 at the weekly reset time, you can check out your Event Card by either navigating to its own tab through the Quests menu in the Director, or simply by interacting with Eva Levante in the Tower.

Your Destiny 2 Solstice Event Card includes all challenges and activities you can complete during the Solstice event. Also, it includes all tiers of rewards that you can either earn for free by completing challenges or get them by upgrading your Event Card. Completing challenges will also add Event Tickets to your balance but you can only use them once you upgrade your Event Card.

How to Upgrade Event Card

In order to upgrade your Event Card, you need to spend 1000 Silver. The moment you upgrade the Event Card, you will instantly receive a bundle of rewards, including Exotic Ghost Shell as well as a new Hot Dog Eating emote.

After upgrading, you can spend Event Tickets to unlock even more rewards, which makes it reasonable to take part in event activities and start the grind for Event Tickets.

How Armor Upgrading Works

When it comes to upgrading armors, Bungie has introduced three different in-game currencies, but only two of the currencies can actually change your armor stats.

So, you will have Silver Leaves as the lowest value currency, then you have Silver Ash that is used to reroll the armor stats, and finally, there is Kindling which is the ultimate currency to upgrade the armor stat roll potential.

Now, the only use of Silver Leaves is the fact they are the initial material to get Silver Ash. You need to earn Silver Leaves, and then do certain activities to transform them into Silver Ash.

Now, here is how you can earn each one of the currencies, as per Bungie:

Silver Leaves:
- Earn Silver Leaves by completing activities throughout the game.

Silver Ash:
- Transform Silver Leaves into Silver Ash by completing the new activity: Bonfire Bash.
- Spend Silver Ash to reroll armor stats from the armor mod screen.

Kindling:
- Earn Kindling by completing Solstice Event Challenges.
- Spend Kindling to upgrade your armor stat roll potential, each piece of armor can be upgraded three times (three tiers).
- You only need to do this once per armor slot. Every time you upgrade a piece of Solstice armor, it is permanent and shared across all pieces for that slot. So, if you upgrade a helmet all the way to Tier 3, every Solstice helmet currently in your inventory and any future helmets you earn for that class can now access Tier 3 stat rerolls.

If you fully upgrade a piece of armor with kindling, it will begin to glow, but you can also pay for the glow effect if you don’t have enough time to grind.

Dying Light 2’s First Story DLC Could Be Gladiator Themed

Dying Light 2’s first major piece of story DLC could be themed around Gladiators after various assets were discovered via the in-game files.

Following a recent patch update back in June, data miners managed to dig up some files with plenty of visual and audio assets. Although it’s not certain what these assets are for, it’s highly likely that the models and dialogue are for an upcoming DLC pack.

Previously, Techland announced that they are aiming to release the first piece of Dying Light 2 DLC in September. The team also confirmed that they will continue to support Dying Light 2 for the next 5 years with new content.

As showcased in a video by YouTuber Bub, and spotted by a user on Reddit, a large number of assets have been discovered in the Dying Light 2 files which look to be for the game’s upcoming DLC pack.

The data mined files show the dialogue for the rumoured DLC before an unfinished cutscene begins and lands Aiden outside of a large opera house. The video then goes on to showcase a more detailed version of the opera house, where the DLC will reportedly take place.

According to the data miner, the Opera Astrid is the largest battle arena in town, but fighters must first work their way up in smaller “city arenas” to become the ultimate opera gladiators. The story for the new Dying Light 2 DLC will reportedly also include two different endings. Fans can check out what the arena looks like on the inside, as well as details on all of the new characters and dialogue in Bub’s YouTube video.

However, we do recommend you take these details with a grain of salt, as no official details have been shared by Techland at the time of writing. Plans can often change behind the scenes before release, which means it’s possible that these data mined files aren’t actually for an upcoming DLC.

Sony Interactive Entertainment extends its investment in the Esports industry with the acquisition of Repeat.gg, the online tournament hoster confirmed via a blog post shared on the website.

Repeat.gg will work in harmony with Sony’s PS brand to access new games, features, and technologies, allowing the company to increase the quality of the service offered to players. “We’re thrilled to join the PlayStation team and work together to enhance the variety of tournament experiences gamers can enjoy, regardless of their skill level.” CEO Aaron Fletcher described his thoughts to GameIndustryBiz.

According to the blog post, Repeat.gg is not going to become a PlayStation exclusive. As confirmed, the Esports platform is not expecting any notable changes in the short term. It will pursue its acclaimed model, supporting online competitive PC and console games. However, players can assume Repeat.gg will focus more on PS titles as it gets new directions in the coming months.

Repeat.gg is an online tournament hoster, allowing players to compete in their favorite games such as Fortnite, LOL, Dota 2, PUBG, and COD: Warzone at no cost. Players can register for the tournaments without having to be online, and climb up the ranks on the leaderboard with their scores calculated based on their fashion. Repeat.gg also provides automated statistics for those who connect their game account to the website.

Sony intends to be a powerhouse in the growing Esports industry as it is in the console market. The industry juggernaut acquired the most popular fighting game tournament, the Evolution Championship Series, back in March. Happinet has announced that it will release Apopia: Sugar Coated Tale, a 90s-inspired hand-drawn game developed by indie Hong Kong studio Quillo Entertainment on PC in the summer of 2023. A demo prologue is now available to play for free on Steam, whilst an official trailer has also been released.

Apopia: Sugar Coated Tale is a 2D action-adventure game that tells the story of Mai, a girl who has lost her memory, and is searching for a way to go home while going back and forth between the fantasy world and the dark world. In the fantasy world, players can enjoy humorous conversations and puzzles with many unique and bizarre animals. The dark world, on the other hand, challenges players to solve several mysteries and battle bosses in rhythm-like games.

Pokemon Go July Spotlight Hour: Staryu Shiny Status, Bonuses & More

We are midway through the month and a number of exciting events have already taken place in Pokemon Go including this month’s Spotlight Hour.

For the penultimate Spotlight Hour of 2022, we have Staryu as the featured Pokemon. As usual, players will be able to spot Staryu more often in the wild as the spawn rate increases dramatically during the course of the event. The event kicks off at 6 pm local time and players have until 7 pm local time to make the most of the event. While we have seen a number of exciting Pokemon in the past, this week’s offerings might not be something many players would be looking forward to. That being said, if you are still looking to add Staryu to your collection or want to collect enough candy to evolve it, this is the best time to do so.

When it comes to the bonus for this week’s Spotlight Hour, players will be getting twice the amount of Candy they usually get while transferring Pokemon. Finally, coming to the shiny status of Staryu, the shiny variant of Pokemon is available in Pokemon Go. Scarlet & Violet Leaks Show New Ancient/Future Pokémon Forms

Twitter user CentroLeaks has been on a posting spree over the past few days, relaying collected information from a pair of leakers that have supposedly played/seen early versions of the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. The barrage of info has been constant, but the details have either been quite vague, or too small to warrant much discussion. As the days have gone on, however, more information has gotten revealed, and a clearer picture has been painted. If the leakers are correct, this generation may bring a new type of regional variants, in the form of ancient and future Pokemon.

CentroLeaks has reported accurate leaks in the past, such as with Pokémon Sword & Shield and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. CentroLeaks references two leakers, and though each seems to be providing their own unique details, some of the same information was coming from both.

This is what is being claimed right now: The games will have a form of Pokémon species variation yet to be seen called ancient and future forms. These have a significant difference from the regional variants the Pokémon player base has become accustomed to since the seventh generation of games; they will have their own names and their own Pokédex number. Though they are technically ancestors or descendants of certain Pokemon, they are classified as their own Pokémon, as they are not region-dependent, but rather prior or future states of their species. It was claimed that these species do not evolve and have high stats.

That’s not all though. There’s another different type of variation that CentroLeaks is calling convergent species. These are supposedly Pokémon variations that have nothing to do with a previous species, however, simply look very similar to them. It’s said that these Pokémon are based on the “Convergent Evolution” concept from biology, in which unrelated animal species adopted similar traits to others by happenstance as they evolved (think wings on bats and birds). These Pokémon will also have their own name and Pokédex number.

Furthermore, there are allegedly actually still regional forms, meaning the style that we know, will function as we’ve seen; these will have the same name and number as the original Pokémon, but a differently-typed variant. There are also some new evolution lines for Pokémon. These aren’t any type of variant, just evolutions for Pokémon that previously didn’t have one, or new evolutionary lines. CentroLeaks went on to post a chart of the Pokémon that they were told would be getting these various forms. These are not all; if the leaks are true, there could be more.

The red text Pokemon are ones “unconfirmed,” as stated by CentroLeaks.

As seen above, though deemed unconfirmed, it was stated by one of the leakers that two pseudo-legendary Pokemon would be getting an ancient/future species, theorized to be Salamence and Tyranitar, due to the trade seen in the most recent trailer, suggesting that each would be version exclusive. CentroLeaks has aptly titled this the “generation of clones.”

To provide more context for information that was previously reported, the supposed crystallization gimmick of the game seems to provide Pokemon with a new STAB boost. Basically, a Pokemon can hit harder with a specific type of move (Fire, Water, Bug, etc.), without having that type’s weaknesses. Another more recent interesting detail is that Pokemon breeding might no longer require handing two Pokemon off to daycare. Eggs, however, are still in the game.

There is a lot more information floating around online, but as always, everything should be taken with a grain of salt before it has been officially confirmed.

LEC Week 4 Roundup: Rogue Remains Dominant During Week Of Upsets

The regular season of the League of Legends European Championships (LEC) is in full swing, with teams having had a one-week hiatus to prepare new strategies. Rogue activated their regular season form as they extended their win streak to seven games after defeating Team BDS in a dominant fashion. Fnatic, on the other hand, had a disastrous week, being bested by both Misfits Gaming and Team Vitality. However, what worried fans the most was the manner Fnatic lost in as they looked very disjointed in both games

With the completion of week four, the first round robin of the regular season is completed. Every game has become that much more important as teams battle for playoff spots and ultimately to qualify for the World Championship.

A big cluster of teams is currently in the middle of the pack, giving a level of excitement to the league. There are also several teams, such as the MAD Lions and Astralis, that have improved their performance significantly as the split has progressed. G2 Esports, on the other hand, continues their disappointing run as the defending champions have now fallen out of the playoff places.

Week four offered a series of thrilling matches right from the very beginning. Rogue’s exceptional play against Team Vitality was a nail-biter of a game. Also, the matchup between the MAD Lions and Astralis on day two saw both teams fighting hard for the victory.

Is it finally time for Rogue to lift the LEC trophy?

Despite the regular season juggernaut having a rough start to the summer split, they bounced back and haven’t looked back since. Rogue extended its win streak to seven games, making them a favorite for the title. Given the underperformance of the league’s perennial championship threats, Rogue may sit on the throne for the first time in the organization’s history.

In their match against Team Vitality, it was Markos “Comp” Stamkopoulos who carried his teammates to victory with the help of Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus’ superb Taric performance. Having dominated his lane with Kalista against Zeri in a favourable matchup, Comp spread his impact around the map, allowing his team to force fights whenever they wanted. This allowed Rogue a significant lead which they pushed to victory.

Week five of the LEC 2022 Summer Split will return on July 22 with plenty of hectic matchups that could have huge implications for the playoff race. Excel will take on Misfits Gaming to stay in the title race with Rogue and the MAD Lions, while G2 and Astralis will square off each other to take the next step toward securing a playoff spot. Fnatic, on the other hand, has a tough schedule as they face Rogue and Excel.
