My Dress-Up Darling To Get A Special Event In September

Popular rom-com anime, My Dress-Up Darling may finally return.

A special event related to ‘My Dress-Up Darling’ is coming this September, with fans hopeful that an announcement regarding Season 2 will finally be made.

When it comes to romance-comedy animes, fans have had an amazing year for content. Starting with My Dress-Up Darling, a plethora of rom-com series have been released since the beginning of the year. And as we are yet to cover the remaining of 2022, there’s still a lot more for us to see. The first season of the series aired from January to March with a total of 12 episodes, and fans are now eager for news of the show’s return.

As of March, the manga of My Dress-Up Darling had a total of 5.5 million copies in circulation, with the show also winning quite a few awards, including the best winter 2022 anime award. So, the show has clearly left a mark in the anime community, which doesn’t leave any reason why there won’t be a second season.

The official Twitter account and website of My Dress-Up Darling recently confirmed that a special event related to the series will take place on Saturday, September 17th, 2022. The upcoming event is named “TV anime” My Dress-Up Darling is in love “-Ma! ?? I’m crazy to meet everyone! ~ .” The event will take place in J: COM Hall Hachioji, Japan, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM JST. The tickets for the event will cost ¥ 7,700 (tax included), and here’s the email you need to reach if you want to inquire about the tickets.

The voice actor for Marin (Hina Sugata), Gojo (Shoya Ishige), Sajuna (Atsumi Tanezaki), and Shinju (Hina Yomiya) will organize the upcoming event. Spira Spica, the opening theme song performer, and Akari Akase, the ending theme song performer, will also attend the event. Currently, there’s no information if the event will stream for the international audience. But if it’s possible, we might hear something soon.

The first season of the series covered 37 to 39 manga chapters, and more than 75 chapters are currently out. So, there’s a lot of matter for the creators to cover for the new season. Which leads us to believe that it’s finally time to hear something about My Dress-Up Darling’s return.
