You can check out the official patch notes for the MLB The Show 22 Update 11 down below. This update will be available across all platforms.

Miscellaneous

  • Introduction of the Nike City Connect San Diego Padres uniforms.
  • Hitting and pitching difficulty will now be displayed in the Game Log.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the “Can’t Pitch” icon to remain in the pause menu.
  • Various play-by-play commentary adjustments.

When it comes to the release time of the update, the game servers will go down for maintenance on July 8 at 4 am PT/7 am ET/11 am UTC/12 pm BST/1 pm CEST/9 pm AEST. There is no estimated downtime at the moment, but once the maintenance concludes, you can install the new update and continue to play the game.

As the MLB season goes on towards the final months and playoffs, San Diego Studios brings more new events to the game while trying to polish the title more than ever for a smooth experience.

It’s been two years now that the MLB The Show series is no longer a PlayStation-exclusive title. Last year, Xbox was added as a secondary platform for the series, and this year, Nintendo Switch became a new target for MLB The Show. Currently, there is no official information on whether we could see the series coming to PC in the future, but it surely depends on the recent game’s performance on the new platforms.

Based on the rumors we have heard from multiple sources, San Diego Studios is also working on a new title that is not related to their current MLB The Show series. Thus far, we have heard nothing about it officially, but it could be interesting to see how the studio will expand its presence onto non-sports games.
