Insomniac Games Files New Trademark for Video Game Software Called 'Digit & Dash'

April 3, 2015

Insomniac Games are currently hard at work on the latest installment in the Ratchet & Clank series, but it seems they have other irons in the fire as well.

A new trademark filed by the development studio indicates that the team may be already have their next project forming.

The trademark in question was filed late last month for something named ‘Digit & Dash,’ described by the United States Patent and Trademark Office as “video game software” and “entertainment services, namely, providing online video games.”

It’s also worth noting that Insomniac have filed a few trademarks over the last year or so that haven’t turned up anything, at least not yet. We’ve seen trademarks for something called Fruit Fusion, Dino Dash and Space Beasts.

At the moment we’ve got nothing else to offer until something official is released by the California based studio. Could it be their next project? A spin-off of Sunset Overdrive? A mobile and tablet free-to-play atrocity? Haven’t the foggiest, so until something more solid comes along feel free to throw caution to the wind and speculate to your heart’s content.
