Stray Release Date, Time, and Price For PlayStation And Steam

Stray will be available on PS Plus Extra & Premium at launch

July 17, 2022

Annapurna Interactive’s next adventure-indie title, Stray, comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam at the beginning of the week.

Titles such as God of War: Ragnarok, Hogwarts Legacy, and The Callisto Protocol are still to come later this year, and are arguably some of the most anticipated games of 2022. But, after being announced back at a PlayStation Showcase in 2020, Stray has been on the radar of gamers ever since.

Stray will allow players to take control of a cat who has fallen into a world populated by robots and simply aims to return to its family.

Stray Release Date And Time

Stray will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022. If you’re a member of the new PlayStation Plus Tiers, specifically the Extra or Premium Tiers, you will be able to claim Stray at no extra cost.

As for the exact release time for Stray, the PlayStation Store states the title will launch at 1AM PT / 4AM ET / 9AM BST. Whilst the Steam Store Page does not currently showcase an exact release time for Stray, it is expected to release at the same time as the PlayStation version.

Stray Pre-Order And Price Details

If you’re not a member of PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium, you can pre-order Stray via the official PlayStation Store Page. As for PC users, the title will only be available via Steam and can be pre-ordered now.

There is currently a 10% discount for Stray on Steam, bringing the price down to $24.30 from the original price of $26.99 USD.

Unfortunately, there currently no confirmed pre-order bonuses for Stray, so don’t expect to get any exclusive items or in-game cosmetics by purchasing the game ahead of its release later this week.
