Rune Factory 5 PC Release Date, Time, And Price

Farm, fight, and relax.

July 12, 2022

If you are looking for an action-packed Harvest Moon, then you should probably keep an eye out on Rune Factory 5 as its release time on PC is closing in.

The PC version of Rune Factory 5 will be available on July 13 at 8 am PT/11 am ET/3 pm UTC/4 pm BST/5 pm CEST. While the launch price has been set at $59.99, you can pre-order Rune Factory 5 with a 15% before its release. In addition to a discount, you will get the Holy Knight and the Bibliophile swimsuit sets as well as a ranger care package for pre-purchasing the game.

Originally launched on Nintendo Switch last year, Rune Factory 5 will soon land on Steam as its new home. If you are a fan of Japanese games, Rune Factory 5 offers an RPG adventure in a fantasy world, where you step into Rigbarth as a new ranger to save the people of the town from monsters.

As an open-world adventure, Rune Factory 5 is not all about fighting and slaying monsters. You can take your time in the town relaxing and hanging out with people, or you can spend your time farming fruits and vegetables, or taming monsters to help you out.

And yet it is not the end of the story. Your life in Rune Factory 5 is more customizable than you can imagine! Meet different marriage candidates in Rigbarth, forge friendships with them and help them out with their unique storylines, so you can choose your life partner and start a family.

If you are worried about whether you can run Rune Factory 5 on your PC or not, the game hopefully doesn’t require any high-end specs, but you can still check out the minimum system requirement down below:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 8.1 or later
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-6500
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 660 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 9 GB available space

Thus far, we haven’t heard anything official regarding a PlayStation or Xbox version of Rune Factory 5, but it could happen in the future if the game reaches eye-catching financial success on Switch and PC.
