New Switch Game Releases This Week (July 18 - July 22)

While everybody (including us) is moaning about the current heatwave, it’s a surprise htat nobody has mentioned the absolute storm of games about to rain down on Nintendo Switch this week. It’s a big week with plenty to get stuck into, no matter your tastes.

Redout 2 is your racing fix this week after releasing last month on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox. Sadly, it didn’t fare well in our review which I was on-duty for. Best off sticking with Fast RMX until somebody at Nintendo remembers that F-Zero is a thing.

For the sim-lovers out there, Farm Manager 2022 will have you sympathising with actual farmers for the hard work they do – they’re the unsung heroes – while House Builder will probably be the closest our generation gets to home ownership. The metaverse is starting to seem a bit more appealing now.

One of the more interesting releases this week on Switch has to be the graphically impressive sci-fi action-shooter, Bright Memory: Infinite. The game has been available on PC for a while but this week sees the solo-developed shooter release on consoles, including the Switch. There’s no doubt it’ll hold its own on Sony and Microsoft’s machines, but it’ll be interesting to see how it translates to the Switch. Definitely one to look out for if you’re a first-person shooter fan.

Enough blabbering, here’s what’s coming to Nintendo Switch this week, starting with the longest and most overly complicated video game name ever.
